Play is the universal language of childhood. Through play children learn to understand each other and the world around them. Play develops the skills required for competence in cognitive, creative, and social spheres. Cooperation and conflict resolution skills are also learned through play friendships.
Kidz Muze EDUtainment Village is ‘An Indoor Playground Wrapped in a Children’s Museum!’© designed for children age 12 and under to provide the opportunity for the unstructured, creative, independent play we enjoyed as children at the neighborhood playground.
Kidz Muze is a ‘community’ where families can experience quality play time and learning in a safe, clean environment that includes closed-circuit television monitoring of the play areas; wristband number matching child-to-adult at exit; water-free cleaning stations strategically placed throughout; and family restrooms.
PlayScapes
Kidz Muze is 22,000 sq. ft. of Play • Learn • Party! It has a wide variety of PlayScapes designed for social and physical development based on the primary groups age 12 and under:
- Climbing Structures: three different types from 8’ to 18’ high.
- ThinkerTinker Zone: games, construction toys; put it together, then take it apart!
- Muze Maze: vertical obstacle course; oversized fun center with slides, tangled foam forest, crawl-throughs, and more!
- Power Station: fun arcade play center.
- Ball Play Center: Wacky, FoosBall, and Basketball Shoot-Out.
- Village Pretend Play: role-play environments which include a bi-lingual grocery,
a café, exotic pet vet, rainforest campsite and homeplace.
- HabiTOT Town: especially designed for the play of children age three and under.

Drop-In Play
All children admitted for drop-in play must be accompanied by an adult who remains on the premises. Every child-to-adult receives a numbered wristband upon entry; no child or adult exits without a wristband check. Kidz Muze requires a 1:5 adult-to-child ratio for the safety and well-being of all visitors.
Adults are responsible for child supervision.
Children age four and younger are not to be left unattended without adult supervision!
Note: Parties, day camps, and education enrichment programs are not considered drop-in play.
Your child is always your responsibility during drop-in play, our trained PlayPros are on hand to facilitate at the playscapes. Our staff has been fully trained in First Aid, CPR, and emergency situation management; so YOU have several choices for your time at Kidz Muze! You can join in the play; relax with a friend and coffee in Kafé Muze; ease into one of our comfy sofas with a magazine; surf the net with free WiFi; or take in some EDUtainment yourself by attending a GrownFolks Muze program.
Children age four and younger are not to be left unattended without adult supervision!
During the summer and school breaks there are a greater number of field trips booked at Kidz Muze. Most of these are scheduled for the morning. If you would like to avoid busy days, you are welcome to call ahead at 972-318-7010 to check our field trip bookings for the day you are planning to visit.
