The Kidz Muze Vision
Do you remember your mom yelling, "Be home by dinner time!"? You'd slip through your front door and the neighborhood was your playground! Things have certainly changed since those carefree days. Due to the world we live in today, children are missing that wonderful freedom of unstructured, creative, independent play.
As the mother of a daughter in elementary school, I am acutely aware that environmental elements --weather, air quality, safety, and security-- are significantly limiting the opportunity for ‘learning through play’ that is so important for the intellectual and social development of young children.
September 3, 2002 I started to write the business plan for my ‘big’ dream; “a 6,000 sq. ft. indoor playground.” I received my first bank loan rejection letter the following January, but my passion to create Kidz Muze for our community only grew… as did the Kidz Muze concept!

Kidz Muze EDUtainment Village opened June 2006 as a 22,000 sq. ft. ‘Indoor Playground Wrapped in a Children's Museum!’© Designed for children age 12 and under, Kidz Muze provides physical and social developmental play in a secure, colorful, clean environment that is fun and engaging for children; at the same time, pleasant and enjoyable for adults!
Kidz Muze is a ‘community’ where families can experience quality play time and learning in a safe, clean environment that includes closed-circuit television monitoring of the play areas; wristband number matching child-to-adult at exit; water-free cleaning stations strategically placed throughout; and family restrooms.
Our family really enjoys children’s museums, science museums and traveling. We have been blessed to experience many play centers in the USA and Europe. Elements of the interactive learning and pretend play that created the most enjoyable memories of our visits have also been included in the design of Kidz Muze. I hope you will enjoy your time with us!

Hours
Designed for children age 12 and younger, Kidz Muze provides physical and social developmental play in a secure, colorful, clean environment that is fun and engaging for children; at the same time, pleasant and enjoyable for adults!
All children admitted for drop-in play must be accompanied by an adult who remains on the premises. Every child-to-adult receives a numbered wristband upon entry; no child or adult exits without a wristband check. Kidz Muze requires a 1:5 adult-to-child ratio for the safety and well-being of all visitors. Children age four and younger are not to be left unattended without adult supervision!

During the summer and school breaks there are a greater number of field trips booked at Kidz Muze. Most of these are scheduled for the morning. If you would like to avoid busy days, you are welcome to call ahead at 972-318-7010 to check our field trip bookings for the day you are planning to visit. |
Open on most school holidays based on ISD calendars for Lewisville, Coppell, and Grapevine.
Closed: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Outside foods and drinks are not permitted in Kidz Muze.
EXCEPTION: Infant Foods
To help maintain a sanitary play environment,
socks must be worn at all times, but shoes are
required for all climbing structures.

Klub Muzie Pass provides ongoing significant discounts to frequent visitors and includes

12 months unlimited visits / $150 for one child
+ $115 to add each sibling

+ $ 75 to add each sibling
Admission is limited to the named child listed on the pass. Parents, grandparents, childcare provider, and other relatives are examples of adults qualified to accompany a child holding a Klub Muzie pass. Additional children NOT NAMED on the pass will pay general admission.
Once assigned, passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Muzie MunchKin loyalty cards are honored with the use of the Klub Muzie pass. Passes may not be used in conjunction with any other discount, coupons, parties or programs.

Team Kidz Muze
 Although your child is always your responsibility during drop-in play, our trained PlayPros are on hand to facilitate at the playscapes. Because our staff has been fully trained in First Aid, CPR, and emergency situation management; YOU have several choices for your time at Kidz Muze. You can join in the play; relax with a friend and coffee in Kafé Muze; ease into one of our comfy sofas with a magazine; surf the net with free hi-speed wireless access; or take in some EDUtainment yourself by attending a GrownFolks Muze program.

The safety of your child is of utmost important to us at Kidz Muze. Criminal background checks are conducted on all of our staff and all employees are subject to periodic drug tests. The staff has been fully trained in First Aid, CPR, and emergency situation management.
All children admitted for drop-in play must be accompanied by an adult who remains on the premises. Every child-to-adult receives a numbered wristband upon entry; no child or adult exits without a wristband check. Kidz Muze requires a 1:5 adult-to-child ratio for the safety and well-being of all visitors. Adults are responsible for child supervision. Our trained PlayPros are on hand to facilitate at the playscapes. Your child and you will enjoy a secure environment that also includes family restrooms and closed-circuit television monitoring of the play areas.

Kidz Muze play areas and equipment are cleaned and disinfected daily. Water-free cleaning stations are strategically placed throughout and available for immediate hand washing. Your use of these stations will set a good example and encourage your child to utilize them as well!
